Actress Kristen Stewart said the hit movie “Twilight” was “such a gay movie.”
The 33-year-old Hollywood star, who achieved global stardom starring as Bella Swan in the film series that debuted in 2008, discussed how she now sees hidden themes in the story.
The “Twilight” films were based upon best-selling books of the same name written by Stephenie Meyer.
“I can only see it now,” Stewart told Variety in an interview published Thursday. “I don’t think it necessarily started off that way, but I also think that the fact that I was there at all, it was percolating. It’s such a gay movie.”
