Iranian-Backed Houthi Terrorists Threaten To Retaliate After Coalition Strikes In Yemen

The Houthi terrorist organization lashed out on Friday after U.S.-led coalition forces responded this week to months-long attacks from the group against merchant ships.

A spokesperson for the Iranian-backed terrorist group said that at least 5 terrorists were killed and 6 more were injured in the strikes. The number likely would have been far higher had the U.S. not telegraphed that it was launching the strikes in the hours before the strikes were executed.

“The Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to target sources of threat and all hostile targets on land and at sea in defense of Yemen,” the spokesperson said, adding that the strikes would not deter Houthi attacks against international cargo ships.

He said that there were 73 “raids” that took place during the strike, according to a Google translation of his remarks, although it was unclear what he meant.
