Several legacy media outlets have projected former President Donald Trump to be the winner of the Iowa Caucuses.
The race was called with an unusually low percentage of the vote counted, as multiple outlets — including Fox News, CNN, NBC News, and the Associated Press — all called the race for Trump with just 1% of the vote counted.
With that 1% of the vote in, Trump stood at 57.6%, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was in second place at 17.3%, and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was in third at 17.1%, according to Decision Desk HQ. Tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy was in fourth at 7%.
