The authoritarians at the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) have an overwhelmingly broad new censorship demand for YouTube.
The CCDH published a Jan. 16 report, dutifully and uncritically promoted by CNN, calling on YouTube to “demonetize” and “de-amplify” content that contains any unapproved opinions on “climate change.” Even though the CCDH claimed that YouTube already takes action against denials of “climate change,” CCDH’s “digital brownshirts” screeched that some of the content on YouTube that pushes back against the leftist “climate change” narrative was still monetized.
