Paris Hilton Claims She Was Sexually Abused At Boarding School As A Teen

Socialite Paris Hilton is opening up about sexual abuse she allegedly experienced at a boarding school in Utah when she was a teenager.

The former reality show star discussed the experience with The New York Times during an emotional interview. Hilton said the alleged abuse occurred “very late at night” by staff members at Provo Canyon School who claimed they were performing cervical exams.

“They would have us lay on a table and put their fingers inside of us,” she told the NYT. “I don’t know what they were doing, but it was definitely not a doctor, and it was really scary, and it’s something that I really had blocked out for many years.”

The 41-year-old celeb told the publication that, in retrospect, she realized these actions by staff were “definitely sexual abuse.”

Hilton also claimed that a staff member took her phone privileges away when she started telling her parents how terrible things were at the school.

“We’re going to tell your parents that you’re manipulating, that you’re lying,” she said the staffer told her after one call.

The socialite shared a link to the article with her almost 16.9 million Twitter followers.

I opened up in a @NYTimes video about something I’ve never discussed before. At Provo Canyon School, I was woken up in the middle of the night by male staff who ushered me into a private room and performed cervical exams on me in the middle of the night. https://t.co/mWxF8Pvmaw

“I opened up in a @NYTimes video about something I’ve never discussed before,” she wrote in the caption. “At Provo Canyon School, I was woken up in the middle of the night by male staff who ushered me into a private room and performed cervical exams on me in the middle of the night.”

“Sleep-deprived & heavily medicated, I didn’t understand what was happening,” Hilton continued in a follow-up. “I was forced to lie on a padded table, spread my legs & submit to cervical exams. I cried while they held me down & said, ‘No!’ They just said, ‘Shut up. Be quiet. Stop struggling or you’ll go to Obs.’”

“This was a recurring experience not only for me but for other #survivors,” Hilton wrote. “I was violated & I am crying as I type this because no one, especially a child, should be sexually abused. My childhood was stolen from me & it kills me this is still happening to other innocent children.”

“It’s important to open up about these painful moments so I can heal & help put an end to this abuse,” she added.

Finally, she urged followers to watch the video and help the effort to “shut down” Provo Canyon School.
