Plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow, who became nationally recognized during his time on the reality show “Botched,” called the semaglutide Ozempic a “miracle” but still said he decided to quit using it.
The 65-year-old reality star discussed his experience with the popular drug during a recent interview with Page Six.
“I’ve tried it. I thought it was amazing,” Dubrow told the outlet. “I didn’t have that much weight to lose. But I wanted to try it because so many of my patients were on it and I wanted to see what it was like when you’re not diabetic and you only have 10-15 pounds to lose.”
Though some users report serious side effects, the famous plastic surgeon said he only experienced “low-grade nausea” while taking the medication. Dubrow said even though he stopped using Ozempic, he remains a “huge fan.”
