Original ‘Jurassic Park’ Screenwriter Tapped To Make Next ‘Jurassic World’ Movie

Universal Pictures has tapped the original screenwriter for the first two “Jurassic Park” movies to write the next “Jurassic World” movie, which is projected to hit theaters potentially as early as 2025.

David Koepp, who wrote the original “Jurassic Park” in 1993 and “Jurassic Park: The Lost World” in 1997, is far along with the new script, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

The new movie for the franchise, which has brought in billions of dollars for Universal Pictures, is expected to usher in a “new Jurassic era,” the report said, adding that it seemed as though Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard would not be involved.
