A Republican-majority state Senate in Ohio has joined with the determination of their colleagues in the statehouse in voting to override Republican Governor Mike DeWine‘s veto of a measure that would create new rules on how transgender athletes can compete on sports teams, and ban the use of “gender-affirming care” for any minor in the Buckeye state.
