DC Universe Reveals New ‘Supergirl’ For Upcoming Film

Australian actress Milly Alcock, best known for starring in HBO’s “Game of Thrones” prequel spinoff series “House of the Dragon,” has been named as DC Universe’s new Supergirl.

The 23-year-old played the young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen on the show. Alcock was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on “HOTD.” Now she’ll become an even bigger household name starring as the iconic superhero in the first film project spearheaded by James Gunn and Peter Safran for the DC Universe (DCU), per Deadline.
