According to reports, a House Democrat is under criminal investigation by the Department of Justice, and Punchbowl News has just identified the Democrat as Squad member Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), as many had speculated.

According to Punchbowl News, which broke the original story, the DOJ has subpoenaed the House Sergeant at Arms for the records relating to the misspending of federal security money.
Here’s Fox’s report, noting that she spent more than $700,000 on private security.
This was at the same time she was advocating for defunding the police. She paid part of that money to her now-husband – $62,000 — according to the report.
