I know it has become cliché to point out when Democrats “say the quiet part out loud.” But for this particular story, it’s hard not to use the hackneyed saying.
During an event in Nevada, President Joe Biden gave a speech in which he addressed a series of issues. One of these was abortion, a topic Democrats have been harping about since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. During his speech, Biden claimed that Republicans are “planning a national ban on the right to choose” and vowed that if “MAGA Republicans try to pass a national ban on the right to choose, I will veto it.”
He then referenced Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been tasked with heading up the White House’s messaging on abortion, lauding her for “doing an incredible job going around the country making the case” for pro-abortion policies.
