In a completely unexpected move, former Maryland governor Larry Hogan on Friday announced that he will officially enter the United States Senate race for Maryland, putting cold water on the rumors that he was going to launch a third-party bid for the Presidency.
“We desperately need leaders willing to stand up to both parties — leaders that appreciate that no one of us has all the answers or all the power, because this is not just about the differences between the right and the left. This is about the difference between right and wrong,” Hogan said in an ad launching his Senate bid posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
