Former President Ronald Reagan’s daughter Patti Davis said during an interview over the weekend that she thinks presidents need to take cognitive tests.
The remarks from Davis, which she made during an interview that aired Sunday on NBC News’ “Meet The Press,” come after Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Joe Biden’s handling of classified material said that while Biden “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials,” no charges could be brought against him, in part due to the fact that he displayed signs of serious cognitive issues.
“[Biden] is in his eighties, former President Trump, the frontrunner, is in his late seventies,” host Kristen Welker said. “Do you think there should be cognitive tests for people running for the highest office in the land?”
