On Friday’s Amanpour & Co., simulcast on both PBS and on CNN International, host Christian Amanpour devoted a segment to letting author Dominic Erdozain push the narrative that Americans are unable to deal with gun-related crime because they are “paralyzed” by a misinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment. She also tried to blur the line between criminals and law-abiding citizens by claiming that many or most murders are committed by “law-abiding citizens” or “good guys.”
Amanpour began the segment invoking the recent mass shooting in Kansas City:
