Chiefs Kicker Fulfills Wish From Family Of Super Bowl Parade Shooting Victim

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker fulfilled a wish from the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a radio personality who was fatally shot last week at the Super Bowl victory rally.

The family reached out to Chiefs fans on social media about laying their loved one to rest in Butker’s jersey. They said Lopez-Galvan was wearing a white Butker jersey at the Chiefs parade when she was shot and killed, KSHB News reported.

“#ChiefsKingdom I need your help… the son of Lisa Lopez-Galvan wants his mom to be put to rest in a white buttkicker7 jersey .. the same she wore the day of the parade,” the since-deleted post read. “We can’t find them anywhere … anyone have any idea where we can look?”

The post caught the attention of the Chiefs’ chaplain, Father Richard Rocha, who got the word out to the right people to make it happen, the Kansas City Star reported.
