Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Friday that he is sending more personnel to Texas to assist the state in fighting against the border crisis that President Joe Biden has caused.
The governor said at a press conference that 76 Florida Highway Patrol officers and 50 National Guardsmen were deploying to the southern border immediately. The announcement comes after he has already sent hundreds of troops to the border over the last few years.
