As we’ve reported, Google recently unveiled a new AI bot called Gemini that you can speak with and which can generate stunning photorealistic images on command. One slight problem with the fancy new tech: it’s completely racist, due to its programmers’ leftist viewpoints.
In the programming world, one of the oldest and most apt phrases is, “garbage in, garbage out” (GIGO). It is usually attributed to George Fuechsel, an IBM coder who coined the term in the early 1960s.
What it means is, that no matter how amazing the programming or the machine is, what really counts is who gave it its information and code.
