Actor Timothée Chalamet said there’s one situation where he’d consider signing on for a superhero movie despite Leonardo DiCaprio’s advice to avoid them.
Chalamet made headlines in 2022 upon sharing that DiCaprio had given him some words of wisdom for succeeding in Hollywood, saying, “No hard drugs and no superhero movies.” The “Wonka” star is reflecting on that now with some more years and experience, admitting that he might have to break those rules.
“Well, Leonardo DiCaprio said to me, ‘No superhero movies, no hard drugs.’ Which I thought was very good,” Chalamet told The New York Times during a recent interview. “I follow them both! But the movie that made me want to act is a superhero movie, ‘The Dark Knight.’ If the script was great, if the director was great, I’d have to consider it.”
