Friday was another not-so-great day for the Commander-in-Chief as he struggled to deliver remarks to the press regarding food aid for Gaza. Joe Biden was hosting Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for an official state visit in the Oval Office when his staff decided to throw caution to the wind and allow him to make some remarks to the press. Things seemed to go okay at first, but then Uncle Joe announced that he was authorizing airdrops of food and supplies “into Ukraine.” He followed that up by saying he would be looking to “open other avenues into Ukraine.” I’m sure the Ukrainians will be thrilled to hear it, but what Joe actually meant to say was “Gaza.” But don’t let that worry you.
