It was the gaffe heard around the world when President Biden flubbed the name of a young woman murdered by an illegal immigrant, calling her “Lincoln Riley” instead of her real name, Laken Riley.
“Lincoln — Lincoln Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal!” he shouted.
Lincoln Riley is in fact a big name—in the sports world, at least—because he is the head football coach at the University of Southern California. While the tragic murder is anything but funny, social media has lit up with reactions as users mercilessly mock the befuddled president’s heartless error.
One hoped Riley would rest in peace:
