As we reported, Joe Biden met with the Irish leader Leo Varadkar the other day at the White House. Biden had to have such detailed notes even for perfunctory remarks that it’s concerning. Even for a leader he’s met before multiple times, Biden’s cheat sheet had a picture of Varadkar, how to phonetically pronounce his name, and his title.

Biden had Varadkar at the White House again on Sunday for St. Patrick’s Day and it was a mess. Biden was slurring so much, it was hard to understand what he was saying.
