North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson sent a letter to President Joe Biden this week demanding answers about an illegal alien who was recently apprehended in the state who appeared on the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) terrorist watchlist.
The letter from Robinson, who is the Republican Party’s gubernatorial nominee for the upcoming elections this fall, sought information on 32-year-old Awet Hagos after he was arrested late last week for allegedly opening fire at a business where he worked.
Hagos was charged with three counts of assault on a government official, three counts of resisting a public officer, and one count of carrying a concealed weapon with more potential charges forthcoming.
Robinson sought answers to the following questions:
