Kate Middleton finally broke her silence on Friday about her medical condition as she announced she has cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
In a heartfelt video on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media account, Middleton said that when she went in for “major abdominal surgery” in January she believed that was for a non-cancerous situation. But test results later showed that she had cancer.
“It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful,” Middleton said in a videotaped message.
