Thursday is Opening Day for Major League Baseball and, as a red-blooded American who was raised on a love of the game — and of the Cardinals — I’m excited. Even without the promise of Molina, Wainwright, and Pujols in the mix.
This year, the Cards open their season away against the dreaded Los Angeles Dodgers. (Sorry, Jennifer Van Laar.) Our home opener will have to wait until next Thursday (when I’ll be out of town and, sadly, not able to enjoy the festivities in person).
