Although both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have racked up enough delegates to secure their respective parties’ nomination, there are still primary elections occurring. This week, voters in Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin get to make their presidential candidate preferences known, and in Wisconsin there are also two initiatives on the ballot.
The primaries in Connecticut and New York are closed, Wisconsin is open, and in Rhode Island people can vote in whichever primary they choose, but they’re automatically registered in that party.
In Mississippi, Republicans in Congressional District 2 will vote in a runoff election to determine who squares off against Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson.
Polls close at 8 PM Eastern in Connecticut and Rhode Island, and at 9 PM Eastern in New York and Wisconsin.
