On Monday morning a “Liberated Zone” encampment was set up at New York University’s Gould Plaza by pro-Hamas agitators, in “solidarity” with their comrades at Columbia University. The protest from the encampment became disorderly, and protesters have now breached the university’s barricades and are refusing to leave.

Administrators initially allowed the protest to continue and added the “safety requirement” that no additional people enter the zone. Not surprisingly, the protesters didn’t comply with that requirement and breached the barricades around NYU buildings by early afternoon.
