I think it may actually be time to “mess with Texas.”
The Austin City Council voted in favor of becoming a sanctuary city for transgender minors seeking “gender-affirming care” on Thursday. The city has plans to break Texas state law, which aims to protect kids against things like chemical castration, in order to mutilate innocent children to feed a delusion and push an agenda.
In a vote of 10-1, the council passed a measure that will help it undermine state law by directing police to push any enforcement of the state’s transgender child restrictions to their “lowest priority.”
As noted in the resolution:
Except to the extent required by law, it is the policy of the City that no City personnel, funds, or resources shall be used to investigate, criminally prosecute, or impose administrative penalties upon: (1) a transgender or nonbinary individual…
