Candace Cameron Bure celebrated the box office success of her movie “Unsung Hero,” noting that it took over the 3rd place spot in America on Mothers’ Day.
In a post on Monday on Instagram, the 48-year-old actress shared a shot of the cast of the film from Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company — which celebrates faith and sends the message “family is not in the way; they are the way,” as previously reported.
The movie, which tells the true story about the family behind the hugely successful Christian band, for King + Country, got a boost on Mothers’ Day earning an estimated $2.25M this weekend (from 2,272 locations), bringing the new total for domestic gross to $16.79 million, according to Box Office Reports.
