Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has offered a sweet new plea deal to the six illegal immigrants who brutally assaulted New York Police Department (NYPD) officers in Times Square earlier this year. As he seeks to throw the proverbial book at former President Donald Trump for allegedly paying off a porn star he had a tryst with, he seems to think that physically attacking other people is a crime worthy of leniency.
The New York Post reported on the development, noting the details of the plea deals. Two of the illegals involved in the attack were “offered a separate deal to serve six months in prison for pleading guilty to obstructing a government administration,” and another suspect was offered “a bargain that would send him to prison for two years for pleading guilty to second-degree assault,” the report explained.
