The International Criminal Court (ICC) requested arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes last month.
For once, President Biden stood firmly with Israel and Netanyahu against the decision. To say that Joe Biden has been wobbly in his support of Israel in recent weeks is an understatement. Biden is more concerned with getting votes from Muslim Arab Americans in places like Dearborn, Michigan than he is with supporting America’s loyal ally, Israel.
Actor George Clooney, a Biden supporter, is married to Amal Clooney, an international human rights lawyer. She worked with the ICC’s chief prosecutor Karim Khan and a panel of international legal experts in reviewing evidence of alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Israel and Gaza.
