President Joe Biden paused his pro-gun control speech on Tuesday to defend a pro-Palestinian protester who interrupted the event and heckled the president, saying he was “complicit in genocide” for continuing to support Israel in its war against Hamas terrorists.
Biden was speaking in Washington, D.C., at gun control advocacy group Everytown’s Gun Sense University — an annual gun violence prevention conference — on the same day that his embattled son Hunter Biden was convicted on gun-related charges, a fact that some noted might be awkward.
