Congressional Baseball Game Broken Up Again – HotAir

Last night the annual congressional baseball game was scheduled to support various charities in the DC area. This event has been taking place for more than 100 years and it offers the chance for some bipartisan cooperation toward a good cause. But the proceedings last night were once again disrupted by protesters who stormed the field and brought the activities to a halt. You might be tempted to assume that these were more of the pro-Hamas crazies looking to start some trouble, but they weren’t. These protesters were organized by a group called Climate Defiance and they were there to protest fossil fuels and climate change. If they were waiting for the crowd to leap in and join them in their protest, they were severely disappointed. People began booing and the Capitol Hill security forces were having none of it.
