Judge Blocks Biden’s Title IX Changes in Four States – HotAir

Back in April, the Biden administration released a new definition of federal Title IX regulations that would effectively doom women’s sports and shove transgenderism down the throats of everyone in the country. Multiple states immediately filed lawsuits seeking to beat back these changes. Now, a U.S. District judge in Louisiana has ruled that the changes constitute an abuse of power and a threat to democracy, blocking the rule in his state and three others that joined in the lawsuit. The Education Department is reviewing the ruling and has vowed to fight to overturn it. The states in question have argued that the new rules would cost their school districts millions of dollars in modifications to bathrooms and sports facilities to remain in compliance with the modifications to Title IX while robbing girls and young women of their rights to privacy and the ability to compete in sports…
