The United Nations proves yet again that it is without a shred of credibility, especially when it comes to the rights of women.
Capitulating to terrorists isn’t a good look. The United Nations is holding a conference on Afghanistan in Doha beginning on June 30. It is scheduled to discuss the international community’s approach to Afghanistan. Women’s rights are not on the agenda. Also, the Taliban is demanding that Afghan women be shut out from participating in the conference.
Human rights groups say that this is a betrayal of Afghan women and girls. Newsflash – the Taliban don’t care. Since the Taliban took over in August 2021, when Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from the country took place, the Taliban have brought the bad old days back for women and girls in Afghanistan.
