‘Forrest Gump’ 30th Anniversary To Be Celebrated With Star-Studded Event

The 30th anniversary of the 1994 blockbuster hit “Forrest Gump” will be celebrated this month in Nashville at an event complete with music and stars from the original Robert Zemeckis film.

The Grand Ole Opry House announced that on Sunday, July 28, a star-studded event will be held at the famed music hall to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Paramount Pictures blockbuster classic, Williamson County Source reported.

“The special Opry performance is set to feature Mandy Barnett, The Gatlin Brothers, Jamey Johnson, Gary LeVox, Scotty McCreery, and more,” the outlet noted.

The event will also feature the award-winning actor & humanitarian Gary Sinise who will perform with the Lt. Dan Band songs from the 12X platinum-selling movie soundtrack, the outlet noted. Sinise is probably best known for his role as Lt. Dan, the wounded veteran in the hit movie alongside Tom Hanks.
