‘The View’ Hosts Suck Republican Host Into Racially-Charged Herschel Walker Hate-Fest

New Republican co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin joined her liberal co-hosts on ABC’s “The View” in a segment devoted almost entirely to bashing Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker.

Griffin voiced agreement after her co-hosts claimed during Thursday’s broadcast that Walker had only been chosen as the GOP candidate because he was black — a claim that Whoopi Goldberg has made in the past.

Goldberg opened the segment by scolding Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who has endorsed Walker and argued that Republicans nominating Walker flew in the face of the liberal narrative claiming that the party was racist.

“So, here’s the thing you need to know, Lindsey,” Goldberg said. “Just because we see a black person does not mean that we do ‘monkey-see, monkey-do.’”

“And I’m sure that you don’t know how insulting that is,” she continued her lecture. “But let us just say to you, don’t ever say that again because you look ignorant as hell. Don’t do that.”

Goldberg concluded by claiming — despite evidence to the contrary — that Democrats only selected candidates based on qualifications rather than whether they fit into certain demographics.

“It’s sad that the GOP is using Herschel Walker in that way and he’s letting himself be used,” Sunny Hostin said, arguing that the only reason he had gotten the nomination was that Republicans wanted a black man to face off against Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA).

Goldberg interrupted, snidely suggesting that Republicans might have chosen Walker “to fool us, because we can’t tell each other apart.”

Griffin responded to the attacks by joining in, suggesting that “identity politics” was the only reason Walker had any support at all.

“I think a lot of Republicans, we criticize Democrats for playing into identity politics, but that’s kind of exactly what we’re doing here,” Griffin said. “This was not the most qualified candidate by any means to run for the Senate.”

Griffin went on to complain that Republicans were backing Walker because he was wearing the right team’s “jersey” and claimed they’d continue to do so if ten or even 15 women came forward with accusations against the former pro football player.

She concluded by suggesting that Republicans should instead back candidates like Joe O’Dea (R-CO) — who is running as a moderate and trails incumbent Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) in most polls by double digits — and, using Hostin’s exact words, called Walker “woefully unqualified.”

Co-host Joy Behar rounded out the discussion by praising Warnock — a proudly pro-abortion pastor — prompting Goldberg to interrupt and say that Warnock had “God on his side.”

None of the co-hosts even acknowledged reports that Warnock’s church, which provides him with a stipend in addition to more than $7000 monthly for a housing allowance, has sued to evict a number of tenants from low-income housing — one for less than $30 in back rent payments.
