There’s going to be an investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. There are already big questions about how a shooter was able to get up on a roof within reach of the president, when all the roofs should have been checked out and secured.
Trump was shot in the ear, rally attendee Corey Comperatore was killed after he bravely shielded his wife and daughter from the bullets, and two others were critically injured. (Happily, those two people are now reportedly in stable condition.)
We reported how people were warning about the “guy on the roof” before he fired any shots. There was this upset witness, who was one of the people trying to tell the police about the guy. He said he was trying for minutes to alert police:
