As RedState previously documented, the mainstream media of course have been in full spin mode in the aftermath of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, as evidenced for instance by how they’re making excuses for incendiary rhetoric used by Democrats about Trump, including something said by President Joe Biden just days before the attack.
Biden, as reported by POLITICO, was on a phone call with panicked donors last Monday to try and provide reassurances he was capable of beating the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee when the statement was made.
“I’m absolutely certain I’m the best person to be able to [beat Donald Trump]. So, we’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye,” Biden stated on the call.
