Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) refused to deny over the weekend that Vice President Kamala Harris would be the most far-left president in U.S. history as she seeks to officially wrap up the Democratic nomination for president after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
Warren was asked about the matter by Jake Tapper during a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” in response to former President Donald Trump calling Harris “the ultra-liberal driving force behind every single Biden catastrophe.”
“Is it not true that a President Harris would be the most progressive president in American history?’ Tapper asked. “And, in your view, isn’t that a good thing?”
Warren refused to answer the question and instead said: “What I see is a vice president who is ready to be president.”
