I doubt many people will find this news shocking since we’re talking about the same Olympic Games organizers who decided it would be a good idea to turn the opening ceremonies into a transgender mockery of The Last Supper. (Something they still insist isn’t true and it was all just a tragic coincidence.) Now, adding insult to injury, and potentially even more physical injury, the organizers of the games have announced that two men who had previously been banned from international women’s athletics will be allowed to compete in boxing matches against actual female athletes at the games. Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-Ting of Taiwan will be unleashed in the boxing ring against female athletes in the coming days. At least one former Olympian is warning that this decision will eventually wind up with female athletes being killed. (Daily Mail)
