As we have seen, both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been pretty much “all trans rights all the time” since arriving at the White House. Between obscene changes to Title IX, shoving the idea down the throat of the military, and sweeping DEI hiring policies under this administration, it’s been a regular transgender circus for the past several years. But that’s not how Kamala Harris has always felt. Back when she was the Attorney General for California, even that state’s liberal policies did not allow for taxpayer-funded sex change surgery for male prisoners so they could transfer to women’s prisons. As recently as 2019, her office was still denying such requests for surgery. But she later went on to claim that she had been privately “working behind the scenes” to secure those types of surgeries for male prisoners.
