After Kamala Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, a left-leaning group that ranks senators by ideology memory-holed its finding that Harris was the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate.
But the conservative CPAC Foundation also ranks members of Congress — and now governors — and its rankings cast light on the extremity of Harris’ rumored running mate picks.
Most of the prospective VPs are current governors, and of those, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was the most far-Left. He signed legislation giving illegal immigrants drivers licenses, and making the state a sanctuary state for child sex changes. He established a DEI council as his first executive order and allowed legal liability for counselors who don’t “affirm” a transgender child, and grew the state budget by 42%, CPAC said.
