EXCLUSIVE: Jeremy Carl, a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute and author of The Unprotected Class, made clear that the legacy media is a willing partner of groups and governments pushing racially and discriminatory diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
During an exclusive interview with the MRC Business, Carl blasted what he described as the “regime media” for collaborating with DEI proponents and shutting out any discussion of the discriminatory nature of such initiatives.
Carl made clear that he doesn’t distinguish between the media and their governmental and grant-making allies because the media is “fully part of the regime.” He also emphasized the connection between activist groups and the government: “If they’re not directly funded by the government, they’re funded by very wealthy beneficiaries of the regime.”
