MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart warned Democrats late this week that the hundreds of millions of dollars in positive earned media that Vice President Kamala Harris has gotten in recent weeks may be coming to an end soon as the “sugar high” wears off.
Capehart, who is a columnist at The Washington Post, made the remarks during a PBS interview where he was asked how much longer Democrats can sustain this momentum.
“It’s been a great week for the Democrats after the last three months that they put themselves through with all the yelling and screaming at each other and pushing the president off the ticket,” Capehart said. “But enthusiasm’s up.
