Ian Hatchett at Breitbart found NBC political analyst Chuck Todd is still showing up with hot takes on the campaign. In a deep dive into the NBC News Now streaming channel, on Wednesday’s edition MTP Now, Todd spun furiously that Kamala Harris benefits politically from the fact that “She doesn’t have that many fingerprints on the Biden administration” because “the Biden people did ice her out a lot, didn’t want her involved.”
It’s bizarre to claim that you can’t blame the sitting vice president for anything the president did, like she spent the whole term sitting in the VP mansion twiddling her fingers. Todd wouldn’t try to argue that Mike Pence couldn’t campaign in this cycle as “not having many fingerprints” in the Trump White House, but this is the DNC spin.
