The Puerto Rican recording artist posted a video of the song to almost 32 million subscribers on YouTube, including a caption that said he was “really proud of this one.” Fonsi said he was “honored to be part of a movie that has the power to change and save kids’ lives.”
The music video is interspersed with scenes from the movie, which was inspired by real events. Per Rotten Tomatoes, the movie “follows Jesús, a young Mexican boy whose dreams of becoming a soccer star are shattered when he’s trafficked across the border and sold to a sweatshop making fast fashion in downtown Los Angeles.”
