This is going to be a short but heartfelt rant.
The Democratic vice-presidential nominee made his official debut with his acceptance speech last night (I did not watch as my views on him are pretty well-known ’round these here parts.).
Jazz covered it for us this morning, such as it was. God bless him, and he even included the reason I’m kinda pissed off right now.
The Democrats continue to drag out their convention and milk it for every bit of earned media they can wring out of it. That process continued last night with the address from their newly minted Vice Presidential candidate, Tim Walz. The press was eating up the appearance of Walz’s family in the audience, particularly his sobbing son who proudly declared, “That’s my dad!” You can’t really blame them because it was a rather touching moment and Walz’s family is acting as if they still can’t believe he’s in this position….
