Phillip Nieto at Mediaite reported on “MSNBC Republican” Tara Setmayer’s false statement on Saturday’s talk show The Weekend. Setmayer was so exuberant about flag-waving and “USA” chants that she witnessed at the Democrat convention that she claimed “you’re not seeing that from the oter side.”
What? Setmayer says a lot of wild-eyed things on MSNBC, but she doesn’t have a single fact check from PolitiFact. This could be a start!
As Nieto wrote, “chants of ‘USA! USA!’ are ubiquitous at Donald Trump events, including defiantly after he was injured by a would-be assassin, and in fact the chants have been repeatedly criticized by Democrats.” We’d add Jonathan Capehart saying the USA chants “felt menacing,” until the Democrats attempted it this week.
