The Kamala Harris campaign has one and only one issue keeping it afloat: defeat Donald Trump.
It’s not a small issue because a lot of Americans have a deep and abiding hatred of Trump. More than a few have admitted that they would vote for a lobotomized squirrel if it kept Trump out of the White House. In fact, they did so in 2020, so their promises were clearly sincere.
But that portion of the population is hardly close to a winning plurality. But it explains why there is such an odd coalition behind Kamala Harris.

When Vlad the Mad Putin endorsed Harris I thought it was hilarious. On the one hand, it’s pretty clear that Putin was trolling her. On the other, I suspect he really does prefer her…
