Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) urged Israel to go after the Islamic Republic of Iran during an interview over the weekend, saying that nothing will change in the region until the force funding the majority of the region’s terrorism is held accountable.
Graham made the remarks during a Sunday NBC News interview on “Meet The Press” following Israel’s detonation of thousands of pagers and walkie talkies last week that were used by Hezbollah terrorists, the results of which included thousands of wounded terrorists and dozens who were killed.
“October the 7th was designed to stop normalization,” he said. “Trump did the Abraham Accords. Biden’s been working to get Saudi Arabia to recognize Israel. That’s a nightmare for Iran. So October the 7th was designed to stop that. It was so horrific.”
